Quinn Cook Leads Warriors In Minutes Off The Bench
7 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Quinn Cook was relegated to the bench for Friday's affair with Atlanta, as Stephen Curry (ankle) made his return to the lineup, but his teammate's misfortune gave Cook another chance to shine. Curry hurt his left knee in the third quarter, leaving the game and not returning, so Cook ended up getting a team-high 32 minutes on the floor and he did well, scoring 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting and recording eight rebounds with six assists. It looks likely that Curry will miss another set of games, so Cook will continue to be an important part of the rotation. He's averaged 19.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.6 minutes over the last five games, shooting 55.7 percent from the field and exactly 50 from downtown.
