Rafael Devers Breaks Extra-Base Drought With Homer
3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers hit his 34th home run of the season Monday night, a solo shot off Seattle Mariners relief pitcher Paul Sewald. It was his only hit in four at-bats. He also struck out twice, giving him 18 whiffs in his last 12 games. This also breaks a seven-game extra-base drought for the slugger. There's been some boom and bust for Devers lately, but with a .273/.350/.536 slash line in 524 at-bats this season, there's no way he's coming out of fantasy lineups.
