Rajon Rondo Gets Green Light To Suit Up Monday
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Rajon Rondo (hamstring) has been cleared to play in Monday's game vs. the Knicks, stemming his absence at six contests. Rondo gives the Cavs a clear backup for Darius Garland at the point guard position, with the veteran having appeared in just three games since the acquisition. In those appearances, Rondo averaged 21.7 minutes and scored in double figures twice, an indication of the role that he appears set to hold among Cleveland's second unit. Holding larger name value than fantasy upside for the time being, Rondo can likely remain on the waiver wire in all season-long formats until he can string together consistent production and playing time.
