4 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guards Rajon Rondo (personal) and Kris Dunn (knee) have been listed as out for Wednesday's contest against Chicago, leaving Trae Young to likely receive a lion's share of the minutes at the point guard spot. The defensive-minded duo of Rondo and Dunn were added in the off-season as both PG depth and an attempt to provide Young some respite after significant ball-handling duties last year. To kick off the year, Young appears in line to reprise his previous role with Brandon Goodwin likely to serve as his backup. Both Rondo and Dunn are tenuous season-long roster assets to kick off the year, with their next chance to return to the floor coming Saturday versus the Grizzlies.--Jesse Borek
