4 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Rajon Rondo (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Pacers due to persistent lower back pain. Rondo will now have missed each of Atlanta's last three contests, which has paved the way for Trae Young to see an incremental minutes bump without his primary backup available. Following a strong postseason performance last year, many season-long managers saw value in Rondo despite his bench role, but that has yet to materialize in 2020-21. Averaging just 3.4 points and 3.9 assists per game, Rondo can be safely left on the waiver wire in all-sized formats at this stage.--Jesse Borek
