Rajon Rondo Puts Up 22 Points In Game 2 Loss
7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Rajon Rondo scored 22 points -- his highest total of this postseason -- in Tuesday's loss to Golden State. Rondo was 8-for-15 from the floor and dished a team-high 12 assists to go along with five steals. It was an unexpected outburst for Rondo, who is a key piece of New Orleans chances to pull off a win or two in the series, but he rarely shoulders the scoring load for the team. Expect the assists to keep coming in Game 3, but temper expectations for Rondo's shooting.
