Raul Neto Faces 18-20-Minute Cap During Start Monday
4 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Raul Neto (groin) will enter the starting five in place of Russell Westbrook (rest) for Monday's game versus Chicago, but Neto will have his minutes restricted to a maximum of 18-20 as he works his way back from a groin ailment. The minutes ceiling is essentially a death knell to Neto's DFS intrigue, with Ish Smith expected to see a sizable usage increase in his own right. In the eight games this season that Neto has played 20 minutes or fewer, he has hit double-digits in scoring just twice and has not dished out more than two assists in any of those outings. Westbrook is expected back for Wednesday's matchup against the Raptors, leaving Neto with no path to season-long relevance.
