Richaun Holmes To Sign With Kings
5 years agoCenter Richaun Holmes has agreed to a free agent deal with the Sacramento Kings. Holmes spent last season in Phoenix, appearing in 70 games and averaging 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He’ll be competing with Harry Giles for backup center minutes behind Dewayne Dedmon, and the winner of that battle will possess some fantasy value in deeper leagues. Based on the length of the deal (two years), Holmes likely has the upper hand in the battle for those minutes, though Giles seems like a player with more upside at this point. Holmes did average 1.1 blocks in just 16.9 minutes per game last year, so if he sees a spike in minutes at some point this season, he could be a popular waiver wire add.
