Rickie Fowler An Afterthought Heading Into FedEx St. Jude
2 years agoRickie Fowler, now known as Mr. 125, was the final player to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs. He has not shown any signs of finding his old form, missing the cut in his last two events. Another piece of negative news surrounding Fowler is his caddie change. Fowler has parted ways with long-time caddie Joe Skovron, who has been his caddie since 2009. Once considered one of the best putters in the world, Fowler has been terrible on the greens lately. He has lost strokes putting in seven of his last eight events and can't seem to figure it out. His irons have also been off, losing strokes on approach in five straight events. Bad iron play, combined with bad putting, is not a recipe for success, especially at this time of the season. He is one of the lowest-priced players in most DFS formats and is not attracting much ownership. Fowler is not a viable DFS option.
