3 years agoRickie Fowler nearly netted a top-20 finish at the Wells Fargo Championship. Fowler is one of the few golfers that can truly crank some long shots off the tee. The problem becomes accuracy once more. Fowler also cannot putt consistently. His 68 during the final round of the Wells Fargo offered some hope. Meanwhile, Fowler has missed the cut in five out of eight tournaments he has entered. Fowler can drive a ball well over 310 yards ranks just 149th in driving accuracy. Putting is a mere 162nd with 0.234 strokes lost. Fowler needs to sink early putts to have a chance at the weekend.
