5 years agoNew York Knicks guard/forward RJ Barrett rebounded from a rocky performance Thursday by dropping a team-best 22 points during Saturday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Barrett shot 8-for-16 from the field, including knocking down multiple three-pointers for just the fourth time this season. In addition to the scoring, Barrett added five rebounds and two assists to his stat line. Despite any early season nicks and bruises, head coach David Fizdale appears comfortable deploying Barrett in large quantities on a nightly basis as he leads the team in minutes per game. His next outing comes Monday versus the Cavaliers, who held him to nine points last Saturday.--Jesse Borek
