RJ Barrett Exits Early Friday, Will Miss Season Finale On Sunday
3 years agoNew York Knicks small forward RJ Barrett (knee) saw his 2021-22 campaign come to a close after sustaining a sprained right knee during Friday's win against Washington. Barrett logged just 15 minutes prior to departing, but he was off to an electric offensive start, dropping 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting. The 21-year-old finishes his third professional season having averaged 20 points, 5.8 rebounds, and three assists per game, while knocking down a career-high two triples on a nightly basis. Without Barrett or Julius Randle (quad) for Sunday's regular-season finale, look for Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin, Alec Burks, and others to all have elevated roles, thereby increasing their DFS appeal vs. the Raptors.
