3 years agoNew York Knicks small forward RJ Barrett (illness) has been listed as questionable to play in Tuesday's game against Brooklyn due to an illness. Barrett joins fellow backcourt mate Derrick Rose (ankle) in the questionable column, throwing some doubt on what New York's rotation could look like if Barrett misses his first game of the season. After an early-season scoring flurry, the 21-year-old has cooled significantly as of late, having shot just 39.1 percent overall during his third professional season. An absence would open up more minutes on the wing for Obi Toppin, while Evan Fournier and Alec Burks would likely see even bigger roles as well.
