5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Robert Covington did not have a stellar night shooting the ball (5-for-15 overall, 2-for-10 from deep), but he did manage to notch his second double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds to his credit. In addition, he was a menace on the defensive end of the floor as usual, adding five steals and three blocks to his stat line. He appears dead set on shooting himself out of his early season slump from long range, having fired up 6.4 three-point attempts per game, right on line with where he was last season. His 11 rebounds marked a season high and a welcome sight after four consecutive games with four or fewer.--Jesse Borek
