6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Robert Covington played a key role in Monday's win over Houston, scoring 13 points on 4-for-7 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. He played a team-high 39 minutes and led a huge comeback in the second half, which the Wolves won 55-29. Covington has fitted well with his new teammates and head coach Tom Thibodeau hasn't had any problems trusting him right off the bat as he's averaging 35.9 minutes per game. Minnesota now face Charlotte on Wednesday against whom Covington had his final game as a Sixer. It was a seven-point dud in 30 minutes, so look for him to be motivated to do a lot better this time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
