6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Robert Covington is listed as probable to play during Saturday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to right knee soreness. Covington has been logging hefty minutes totals since arriving from Philadelphia, averaging 35.7 minutes per game across 11 contests under head coach Tom Thibodeau. While the probable designation is a hopeful one for Covington owners in terms of his status Saturday, it’s also a listing on the injury report, which isn’t usually a positive looking long-term.--Jesse Borek
