3 years agoLA Clippers power forward/center Robert Covington (hand) has been tagged as questionable to play in Friday's contest vs. Philadelphia due to a right hand sprain. Covington sustained the ailment during Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets, a contest in which he knocked down four triples for the second straight outing. The veteran has scored in double figures in seven of his 15 games since joining the Clippers, emerging as a solid bench contributor after years of primarily starting. An absence from Covington would pave the way for Nicolas Batum and Isaiah Hartenstein to play larger frontcourt roles.--Jesse Borek
