6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Robert Covington came very close to his third double-double of the season on Wednesday, finishing a 119-94 win at Chicago with eight points and nine rebounds. He simply didn't get his shot to drop, going 1-for-8 from deep and 3-for-13 overall from the field. Despite the shooting struggles, Covington still played massive minutes. It was a blowout win, but Covington logged 37 minutes on the court. Covington has finished back-to-back games with fewer than 10 points just twice this season, so he should bounce back on Friday against the Hawks. He'll be helped by the fact that Atlanta are allowing opponents to shoot 37.8 percent from deep, which is the second-worst mark in the league.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
