6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Robert Covington didn't have his best outing versus the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. Covington scored 17 points going 4-for-11 from the floor but a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe. In addition to Covington's scoring output, he had 10 rebounds and four steals. In the nine games Covington has been playing for the Timberwolves he is averaging 14.5 points and 6.2 boards which are both above Covington's season averages. The next contest for Covington and the Timberwolves is the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The Rockets have the sixth worst defensive efficiency so expect Covington to continue to give fantasy players solid production.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
