6 years agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams drew the first start of his professional career in place of Al Horford (knee) for Saturday’s contest against the Charlotte Hornets. He wouldn’t finish the game, ruled out for the second half due to a lower back contusion that came on a fall that could have resulted in much worse. Williams collected two points, three rebounds and two blocks across his 10 minutes, with Daniel Theis taking over at center in his place. Williams can safely be tagged as questionable for Sunday’s match-up with the San Antonio Spurs.--Jesse Borek
