3 years agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams III (illness) and shooting guard Josh Richardson (illness) have both been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against Brooklyn due to non-COVID-19 illnesses. The positive for Williams is that his knee is not the root of his absence, an indicator that a return to action likely won't be far off. Williams returned to action Monday and snatched 15 rebounds in 23 minutes. Richardson will now have missed two straight contests with the illness, stunting the progress that he had been making among the team's second unit. Look for Grant Williams to slot into the starting five and become an upside DFS candidate, while Al Horford holds down the center spot.--Jesse Borek
