Robert Williams Suffers Left Knee Contusion
6 years agoBoston Celtics rookie power forward Robert Williams left Friday's Summer League game against the Philadelphia 76ers with a left knee contusion after playing just six minutes. Williams scored four points and grabbed a pair of rebounds in that stretch and looked active on the court, but the injury ended his night early. It's unclear if Williams will be ready to go for the rest of the summer league. It's also worth noting that Williams said after the game that he deals with tendinitis in that knee. While it's a minor issue on its own, incidents like Friday when Williams hit knees with another player and aggravated the inflammation could come up at times.
