6 years agoWell, that was short-lived. In his first game since May 22 after a two-week stint on the Injured List, New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (quad) couldn't make it through the fifth inning. Cano re-aggravated the left quad that sent him to the IL two weeks back in the third inning while attempting to beat a double play. He was lifted from the game in the fifth. It seems clear that the Mets rushed Cano's return and another IL stint may be likely. He can be dropped or left on waivers in most leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
