Rockets Exercise Team Option On Jae'Sean Tate
2 years agoThe Rockets exercised the team option of forward Jae'Sean Tate. The former Ohio State Buckeye has added depth for an up-and-coming franchise throughout his two years in the NBA, and he finished 2021-22 by averaging 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. The 26-year-old has been durable, appearing in 148 games since entering the league, and has provided sporadic relief for fantasy managers as a streamer. However, his shooting percentages haven't been the best, draining only 31% of his attempts from deep. Nonetheless, Tate isn't expected to be a day-to-day producer for Houston moving ahead. But he should continue to have some solid outings here or there.
