6 years agoThe Houston Rockets have selected USC guard De'anthony Melton with the 46th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Melton, who missed all of last season after being ruled ineligible by the NCAA, has all the tools to be the kind of defensive wing player that the Rockets covet in their quest to take down the Warriors, but he shot under 30 percent from deep during his one season with the Trojans. Melton's path to playing time is highly dependent on what happens with Houston during free agency and if the team holds on to guard Eric Gordon. If Gordon is traded to clear up room for a free agent like LeBron James, Melton could be forced into action as Houston's third guard. If his shot develops, he could be a fantasy sleeper.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
