Rodney Hood Drops 20 Points During Efficient Outing
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard/small forward Rodney Hood appears to have settled into his role as the third primary scorer amongst the team’s starting five and it showed during his 20-point performance Sunday against Dallas. Hood needed just 12 shots to reach the 20-point mark, making eight, including all three that he attempted from deep. He also snatched six rebounds and totaled two steals, giving him his best performance as a 27-year-old. His ceiling on a nightly basis remains capped, but after proving his unquestioned scoring ability during the postseason last year, Hood will retain value in some medium-sized leagues.
