Rodney Hood Hits Blackjack In Preseason Loss
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Rodney Hood wasn't terribly effective from the floor in Friday's preseason loss against the Detroit Pistons, but he ended up with a team-best 21 points across 22 minutes. Hood was just 4-of-13 from the field, and 2-of-7 from behind the arc, but he made up for it by getting to the line 12 times, including 11 makes from the stripe. The Cavs have an obvious huge hole to fill with LeBron James gone to California, but Hood has shown he could be an important part in trying to fill the void somewhat. The swingman will be the secondary or tertiary scoring option in Cleveland, so he's worth a roster spot in most fantasy leagues.
