4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard/small forward Rodney Hood (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus Dallas due to a left foot sprain. Hood enjoyed a bit of a fantasy revival during a recent three-game stretch where he entered the starting five, but he saw it fade upon returning to the second unit. Even with C.J. McCollum (foot) down, shot attempts have been hard to come by for Hood, who is averaging just 5.0 PPG this season. Gary Trent Jr. and Anfernee Simons figure to benefit from Hood's absence, with his next chance to return coming Tuesday against the Thunder.--Jesse Borek
