4 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Ronald Bolanos received praise from manager Mike Matheny following his start on Sunday. Matheny said that Bolanos "was throwing with confidence" and that he had "Major League weapons." Bolanos only pitched two innings in the game against the Cleveland Indians on Sunday, allowing three hits, one walk and two unearned runs while striking out just one. Despite the relatively uneventful line, Matheny saw enough from Bolanos to inspire confidence that he'd remain a part of the team's rotation at least for now.
