6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Ronald Guzman will sit for the second time in two days Saturday. The Rangers currently have at least 10 hitters they want to get regular at-bats, meaning someone is going to miss out every day. It is interesting to see left-handed hitter Guzman sitting for a second time against a right-handed pitcher, but Guzman has actually been more consistent against left-handed pitchers this season. Against lefties he has a .263 batting average compared to .221 when facing righties. Without another disabled list stint for one of the more established players, Guzman may struggle for playing time in the foreseeable future--Ben Rolfe
