Ronald Jones II Leads Team In Carries
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II was able to keep the role coach Bruce Arians promised for Week 1, which was being the lead back. Jones got 17 carries and turned it into 66 yards while also chipping in 16 receiving yards. What was more encouraging for this RB was the fact that Leonard Fournette only received five carries. This bodes well for Jones' workhorse role on the team going forward, and he has quite a favorable matchup next week against a Panthers Defense that just allowed three touchdowns to Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, who shredded them.
