Rory McIlroy Poised For A Great Week

2 years agoIt was a surprising missed cut for Rory McIlroy last week at the FedEx St. Jude. However, even with the result, McIlroy comes into the BMW Championship as the most expensive player in most DFS contests. Even with the price, McIlroy should be a great option this week. The PGA Tour will be played at Wilmington Country Club for the first time ever this week, which is a course with huge, bent-grass greens. So far this season, McIlroy sits first on the PGA Tour in going for the green, hitting over 71% of greens when going for them. Add in the size of the greens this week, and McIlroy should benefit. McIlroy sits third on tour in strokes gained putting on bent-grass greens as well.
