7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay scored 16 points in 27 minutes off the bench in Saturday's win over Portland, extending his streak with 10-plus point games to four. He's averaged exactly 16 points as well during the good run, which was sparked by a little bump in playing time. Gay has played at least 24 minutes in four of the last five games, with his season average being just above 21 minutes. He's been a big part of San Antonio's late push for the playoffs and expect nothing different from the last couple of games.
