4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small/power forward Rudy Gay is on track to miss his second consecutive game Sunday versus the Miami Heat due to an illness. Without Gay in the mix, Trey Lyles is likely to see an increased role in the frontcourt. Gay has been a vital cog in the Spurs’ second unit this season, averaging 10.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, retaining value in deep leagues due to his consistent role. Barring a significant change of fortune, he will next be available to take the floor Monday against Phoenix.--Jesse Borek
