3 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Rui Hachimura (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Pistons after sustaining a sprained right ankle during the second quarter. Hachimura sustained the ailment after knocking down a corner three, his lone made field goal of the night. Prior to his exit, Hachimura notched 10 minutes off the bench and finished with six points, one steal, and one rebound. Deni Avdija and Anthony Gill stand to see elevated minutes in the frontcourt for both the remainder of the game and for as long as Hachimura is sidelined. His next chance to return to action comes Wednesday vs. Indiana.--Jesse Borek
