5 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Rui Hachimura produced the best scoring performance of his young career on Wednesday, scoring 23 points in a 159-158 loss to Houston. After missing all eight of his attempts from deep in the previous games, Hachimura was red-hot from deep with a 3-for-3 record and he shot 9-for-15 overall from the field. The youngster also had five rebounds in the game. Hachimura is scoring 18 points per game through his first four NBA outings and he's averaging seven rebounds in 33.3 minutes. Getting close to the same numbers on Saturday could prove to be difficult, though, as he'll be up against elite defender Robert Covington.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
