5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Russell Gage was heavily involved in the offense once again this week. He was targeted nine times in the game and wound up with five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown. He's earned nine or more targets in three of his past five games now. The team was without Julio Jones (shoulder) and Austin Hooper (knee) in Week 13 and Gage stepped up in their absence. The Falcons have a long week of rest before their Week 14 game against the Panthers, so both players could return, which would significantly hurt Gage's value.
