Russell Westbrook Claims 2nd Place On Triple-Double List
5 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook is off to a lightning fast start with his new franchise, having reeled off his second straight triple-double to open the season during Saturday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans. His 28-point, 13-assist, 10-rebound showing gave him 139 career triple-doubles, passing Magic Johnson for second most in league history. Westbrook was efficient from the floor, shooting 9-for-17 and compiling just four turnovers. He next takes the floor Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first time in his career for what should be an emotionally charged contest. His DFS price has been reasonable through his first two contests, while also remaining a vital cog in all traditional fantasy formats.
