3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook has tested out of the league's health and safety protocols in time to suit up for Friday's contest against the Timberwolves. The move is the latest in a whirlwind of testing around the league, with Westbrook ultimately not missing any time after entering the protocols. His inclusion vs. Minnesota will be key with Avery Bradley, Talen Horton-Tucker and Malik Monk all still in the aforementioned protocols. Working against Westbrook is that Minnesota's defense against opposing point guards this season has been surprisingly stout, even as they play at the league's fourth-fastest pace.--Jesse Borek
