Russell Westbrook Explodes on Golden State
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook went nuts on the Golden State Warriors, leading his team to a 125-105 win on Tuesday night. Westbrook narrowly missed out on a triple-double, scoring 34 points, dishing out nine assists and pulling down nine boards. The MVP has steadily progressed since the start of the season and is now back in the conversation to repeat as the league's best player. Westbrook is averaging 25.5 points, 10.3 assists and 9.3 rebounds on the year, and it won't be long until he is back averaging a triple-double, especially with forward Carmelo Anthony (ankle) possibly out of the picture for the next few games.
