3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook performed well in Tuesday's loss to the Suns, picking up 20 points with 10 rebounds and five assists. He shot 10-for-20 from the field and added three steals on the defensive end, although fantasy managers could've done without his seven turnovers. Westbrook is averaging below 17 points for the month, but he's gone for 20-plus points in three of the last four games, showing good signs of improvement. With that said, the Lakers will still need a lot more from him during a stretch without Anthony Davis (knee). With matchups against San Antonio and Brooklyn coming up, Westbrook will face two teams that tend to give up a lot of points to opposing point guards, so we should see some fireworks from him this week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
