Russell Westbrook Logs Zero-Turnover Outing
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook began March in a similar shooting funk to the one that engulfed him during February. Westbrook was able to deliver 12 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and two steals in Tuesday's defeat to Dallas, but he shot 5-for-17 overall, including going 0-for-4 from behind the arc. Head coach Frank Vogel pointed out that Westbrook did not commit a turnover in his 38 minutes on the floor, the fifth such instance this season with a goose egg in the giveaway column. Without Anthony Davis (ankle) on the floor, Westbrook continues to have an elevated fantasy ceiling, he has just yet to find his shooting rhythm. His next matchup comes Thursday vs. the Clippers, whom he took 21 shots against last Friday, an encouraging sign for DFS managers rolling the dice on his upside in tournament formats.
