4 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Russell Westbrook was one rebound short of a triple-double in Sunday's dominant 104-91 win over Boston. He handed out 11 assists and finished with 13 points on 6-for-19 shooting. He also had one steal and three turnovers in 29 minutes. Westbrook has been shooting poorly throughout the season, but he had actually managed to shoot at least 44 percent from the field in seven straight matchups before it all came apart on Sunday. Westbrook is surely eager to play against Houston on Monday, but he is generally rested for one game in a back-to-back situation. If he sits out, then he'll at least be fully fresh for meetings with Denver and Portland next week. The latter matchup provides a great spot for him to put together a monster line. The former MVP is averaging an 18-8-8 line for the month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
