3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook collected 30 points on 12-for-20 shooting in Thursday's loss to San Antonio, hitting 1-for-2 from downtown and 5-for-9 at the line. He pulled down seven rebounds and recorded one steal while delivering four assists with five turnovers. The Spurs have an elite backcourt defender in Dejounte Murray, but point guards have enjoyed the matchup throughout the season and Westbrook didn't let a good opportunity slip away. Christmas Day matchup against Brooklyn is another good one for him, and Russ should start off next week with a pair of big games as well, with the Lakers visiting Houston and Memphis.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
