6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook finished Friday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets with 13 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and four steals. He got tangled up with Jamal Murray in the closing seconds of the game, putting a cap on what was a frustrating 5-for-15 shooting performance. Westbrook is averaging a triple-double across his six December contests, but is at just 18 points per game, below his season average of 21.5. He gets right back on the floor Saturday against longtime nemesis Patrick Beverley and the Los Angeles Clippers.--Jesse Borek
