3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook came through with 27 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in Tuesday's 119-117 win over Houston. He added one steal and three turnovers to his line in 37 minutes, while going a decent 10-for-21 from the field but a horrible 0-for-4 from downtown. He made up for his ugly three-point shooting with a 7-for-8 effort at the charity stripe. Westbrook looked out of place in L.A. during his first couple of outings, but the Big Three with him, Anthony Davis and LeBron James has started to gel together and they seem stronger with each outing. The trio combined for 84 points on Tuesday. The Lakers are going to be back in action Thursday night when Westbrook gets to see another former team in the Thunder. He's averaged an outstanding 26-10-11 line against OKC in six meetings since leaving the team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
