Russell Westbrook Scores 20 Points In Victory
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer made on 9-for-22 shooting from field goal range in Friday's 118-108 victory over the 76ers. The 31-year-old snapped his streak of seven consecutive contests of double-digit field goals made, but managed to hit a three-pointer after failing to do so over the past three games. Westbrook is coming off of a terrific month of December, in which the two-time scoring champ averaged 27.1 points per game. 8.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists on 90% shooting from the free throw line. Westbrook has posted mid-round fantasy value in standard 9-cat formats and will look to build on the positive performances in the new year, making the former MVP worth starting across all formats in the Rockets next matchup against the Hawks on Wednesday.
