5 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 31 points in Monday's matchup against the Spurs, shooting 11-for-25 from the field. He was 1-for-7 from downtown and 8-for-9 at the charity stripe, collecting 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block. With the Rockets in trouble for most of the night, Westbrook ended up logging 40 minutes which played a notable part in his five turnovers. The 2017 MVP has found some consistency lately, dropping 20-plus points in five straight games. However, continuing the run will be difficult, as the Rockets take on the Clippers next. Doc Rivers and his team have limited opposing point guards to below 40 percent shooting this season, and Westbrook has averaged only 19.5 points against them in two previous meetings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
