5 years agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook tallied 34 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two triples, and two steals in a 119-118 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Westbrook started strong and finished strong for Houston in this one, racing to the basket and making a layup with one second left in the game. The former MVP has had to sacrifice in nearly every stat category as a result of playing with James Harden, though he remains a nightly triple-double threat. Westbrook could put up big numbers against a 5-18 Cleveland Cavaliers team on Wednesday night.--Tim Capurso
