Russell Westbrook Solid In Win Over T'Wolves
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook helped his team snap a four-game losing streak in the win over Minnesota on Tuesday night. The former MVP produced 27 points on an adequate 11-for-17 shooting from the field. He also added seven assists, six boards, and was solid defensively by coming away with four steals. The veteran is having one of his best seasons on the scoring end in his first season in Houston by averaging just over 27 points per outing. Though he is doing so by decreasing his contributions in other areas, fantasy managers should still be satisfied with his production as most leagues advance into the playoffs. The Rockets will next hit the road for a Thursday night matchup with the Lakers, with the 31-year-old averaging an impressive 38 points against Los Angeles throughout two meetings on the year.
